What should be the minimum time of concrete curing

What should be the minimum time of concrete curing?

A concrete structure mainly depends on concrete compresive strength and is very important for any concrete construction project. Strength of concrete depends on the concrete curing. Then we first have to know "how long does it take to curing the concrete?"

Most common people do not know the minimum curing time of concrete. During the construction of a concrete structure, some people do a curing for 3 to 5 days or some people do it for 10 to 15 days. The concrete curing should be done until it gets 70% to 80% strength. For ordinary Portland cement, you should be able to do the minimum of 7 days from the date of concrete casting.

The time of the curing should be extended to 10 days where the mineral ad mixer or mixed cement is used.
Curing should not be less than 10 days for concrete exposed in dry and hot weather.
Generally, it is good to do the curing up to 14 days.

Typically, 1 day of the concrete has 16% compressible strength of concrete, 40% compressible strength
within 3 days, 65% compressible strength in 7 days and 99% compressible strength within 28 days.

That means, within 14 days, the concrete 90% compressible strength is available and the time taken
to get 9% of the stride is 28 days. So, after 14 days, the strength of the concrete increases gradually.
This means that the cement hydration process is more than the first 14 days of casting and then it is slow.
So it is certain that the concrete curing should be done for at least 14 days to achieve stability-related features.
